Cbank recommends Russian banks to pay no dividends for 2022

MOSCOW, Jun 15 (PRIME) -- The central bank has recommended Russian banks to pay no dividends for 2022 and no bonuses to the managers until the end of 2022 to ensure financial sustainability, as seen by PRIME in a document published on the regulator’s website on Wednesday.

“To ensure financial stability of the credit organization both in short and medium terms in the conditions of the structural transformation of the Russian economy, the central bank recommends that the credit organizations should abstain from paying dividends to their shareholders… until the end of the year,” the document read.

The central bank also recommended Russian banks not to pay incentives to the CEOs, their deputies, and other top executives.
